About Hydrobond Technology
Exact Mixing Hydrobond Technology brings liquids and a dry ingredient stream (typically flour) together quickly before it enters a continuous mixer, without adding heat to the dough.
It mixes dough on a particle-to-particle basis, based on the principle that mixing smaller amounts of liquid and dry ingredients together at one time is more efficient and results in more uniformly hydrated dough. It can be used with a pre-hydration system to mix flour, minors and water directly into a brew holding tank, and may also be retrofitted to existing systems.
When used with a Continuous Mixer, Hydrobond Technology makes the mixing process more efficient and allows for the use of a shorter mixer. This results in a smaller footprint, lower equipment costs and lower energy costs.
Exact Continuous Mixing Solutions
Our most versatile mixer is the Exact Mixing MX Continuous Mixer. It is well suited for a wide range of products including pizza, cookies, snacks, batters, icings, and pastes. It is also an ideal first stage mixer for processes that require creme up and pre-blend stages. This mixer offers dough production rates from 500 to 6,000 kg/hour.
The Exact Mixing EX Continuous Mixer is ideal for crackers, pretzels, pie crusts, sweet goods, pet treats and a variety of other wheat-based snacks. Thanks to full automation, it uniformly mixes products with a variety of dough moisture levels, reduces lay time, eliminates dough troughs, and reduces labor and energy. This mixer offers dough production rates from 50 to 10,000 kg/hour.
Another excellent option is the Exact Mixing HDX or High Development Continuous Mixer. It is designed specifically to manufacture highly developed dough at low temperatures and is a perfect choice for ultra-high absorption doughs such as buns, breads, rolls, English muffins and similar products. The HDX mixer offers dough production rates from 1,500 to 10,000 kg/hour.
The Exact Mixing FX Continuous Mixer is designed to evenly distribute small amounts of moisture into large amounts of powder. This is accomplished by lifting the powder into atomized liquids. It is suitable for hydroscopic powders such as potato flakes used to make fabricated potato chips and any other low moisture mixtures. This mixer offers dough production rates from 100 to 1,250 kg/hour.
For most types of cookies and other products that require ingredient blending before flour is added, the Exact LDX Continuous Mixer is a great choice. In the first mixing stage, all minor ingredients can be combined with some of the flour and the fat can be cut in. In the final stage, the remaining flour is added to create the final dough. This mixer offers dough production rates from 1,500 to 7,500 kg/hour.
