Our Continuous Mixers & Applications
Continuous Mixing means that ingredients are metered continuously into the mixing chamber, generating a stream of mixed product at the exit of the mixer. Mixing can also be done in stages to properly incorporate all ingredeints.
Crackers: The Exact EX Continuous Mixer is ideal for crackers and other products with low-absorption, wheat-based, stiff dough. The gentle mixing action quickly develops a dough mass and evenly blends in leavening agents without generating excessive heat. The EX Mixer offers dough production rates from 100 to 10,000 kg/hour.
Buns, Bread & Rolls: The HDX Continuous Mixer was designed explicitly for ultra-high absorption, highly developed dough, including for bread, hard rolls, hamburger and hot dog buns, English muffins, tortillas, and multi-grain products. The HDX Mixer offers dough production rates from 1,500 to 10,000 kg/hour.
Crisp Products: The Exact FX Continuous Mixer is ideal for products where final product texture is determined by critical moisture levels, such as baked potato chips, stackable potato chips, corn chips, rice crisps, veggie chips, potato snacks, multi-grain chips, and more. The FX Mixer offers dough production rates from 100 to 1,250 kg/hour.
Cookies: The LDX Continuous Mixer is perfect for cookies and any application where ingredients are blended before adding flour. A two-stage mixing process is well-suited to products that benefit from creme up and final mixing stages. The LDX Mixer offers dough production rates up to 9,000 kg/hour.
Fillings, Icings & Batters: The MX Continuous Mixer perfectly mixes high-fat, high-solid products, including batters, icings, peanut butter, pie fillings, muffins, cake-style donuts, and other fat/sugar mixtures. Quick blending is done to form a uniform mixture without creating excessive heat. The MX Mixer offers dough production rates up to 8,000 kg/hour.
