The Exact FX Continuous Mixer is designed for products where critical moisture levels determine the product’s final texture, such as baked potato chips, corn chips, veggie chips, rice crisps, potato snacks, stackable potato chips, multigrain chips, and more.
In these types of products, limited moisture must be evenly distributed into a dry major ingredient which calls for more moisture than is made available. Contact between dry ingredients and liquids must be controlled to prevent the creation of wet and dry areas in the final dough.
The FX Continuous Mixer accomplishes precise moisture distribution by lifting hydroscopic powders, such as potato flakes, into atomized liquids. The mixer offers dough production rates up to 3,000 kg/hour and are dependent on the amount of moisture in the formulation, level of development required, temperature, and other factors.
