Industrial Spindle Mixer
Customers who routinely mix fermented, unfermented, and rotary moulded dough rely on the performance of the Thomas L. Green Vertical Spindle Mixer from our partner, Reading Bakery Systems.
The Vertical Spindle Mixer allows the dough to be mixed twice and stay in the same trough throughout the process. After the first mixing stage, the dough rests in the trough and can then be repositioned beneath the spindles and remixed with the final ingredients.
This improved and trusted mixer now offers three independent gearboxes, one for each vertical spindle, improved guarding, hardened rails for the vertical movement of the mixing head, easier cleaning, improved structural rigidity, and a more modern appearance.
The mixing action is gentle, so it is ideal for doughs with ingredients that can be easily damaged during the mixing process. You can configure mixing paddles for different mixing actions and products.
Available options include high-strength 17-4PH stainless steel paddles and spindle shafts, automated trough locking and detection device, dough ejecting device, dough load monitoring system, dough temperature monitoring system, alternative HP and RPMs, automatic lubrication system, and more.
Completely PLC-controlled, the Thomas L. Green Spindle Mixer includes an integrated control panel. Operator controls mixer functions with a touch screen operator interface from one location, including mixing head movement, paddle operation, and mix time.
Exact Continuous Mixing Applications
Almost any product made with a traditional mixer can be made on an Exact Continuous Mixer. No single type of batch mixer is ideal for all products, and this is also true for continuous mixers. This is why we offer a range of continuous mixer models. Try our Continuous Mixing Calculator to explore whether your process is a good fit for continuous mixing.
