Continuous Mixing for Bread Production
Exact Mixing has specifically developed the HDX Continuous Mixer for ultra-high absorption, highly developed dough, including breads, hard rolls, hamburger buns, hot dog buns, English muffins, tortillas, multi-grain products, and other similar products.
This High Development Continuous Mixer is designed for highly developed dough at low temperatures. The HDX Mixer, a 2-stage system, provides precise ingredient metering to the mixer and, in the first stage, utilizes a twin-screw mixer to combine all ingredients into a uniform mass. Next, the dough is kneaded to the proper development level with a single screw mixer. This mixer offers dough production rates from 1,500 to 10,000 kg/hour.

The comprehensive line of mixers from Exact Mixing includes models that will successfully mix a wide variety of food products with volumes that range from 50 kg/hour to over 10,000 kg/hour. They include:
EX Continuous Mixer – designed for wheat-based snack products, such as crackers, sweet goods, pet treats, and other low- to mid-absorption stiff doughs. This mixer offers dough production rates of up to 7,500 kg/hour.
FX Continuous Mixer – designed for products where critical moisture levels determine final product texture, such as baked potato chips and crisp products. This mixer offers dough production rates from 100 to 1,250 kg/hour.
LDX Continuous Mixer –designed for two-stage mixing for products that benefit from creme up and final mixing stages. It is well-suited to most types of cookies and applications where ingredients are blended before the flour is added. This mixer offers dough production rates of up to 9,000 kg/hour.
MX Continuous Mixer – our most versatile mixer designed for products that require high energy mixing and a wide range of other products, including cookies, snacks, batters, icings, and pastes. This mixer offers dough production rates of up to 8,000 kg/hour.
