Mixing & Kneading Dough
Exact Mixing manufactures the HDX Continuous Mixer specifically for ultra-high absorption, highly developed dough at low temperatures, such as for bread, buns, rolls, English muffins, tortillas, and multi-grain products.
This Continuous Mixer is a two-stage system. All ingredients are first mixed into a uniform mass with a twin-screw mixer. Then, the dough is kneaded to the proper development level with a single-screw mixer in a separate section.
The Exact HDX Mixer offers dough production rates from 1,500 to 10,000 kg/hour. It provides precise and uninterrupted ingredient metering to the mixer and eliminates the chance of contamination because the dough is never exposed to the environment.
What is Included in an Exact Continuous Mixing System?
Exact Mixing provides complete systems, testing, and installation supervision for both straight dough and liquid ferment systems.
A complete Continuous Mixing System includes the mixer, blender, materials handling and ingredients metering equipment, and a control system that monitors and distributes product between them.
We design our mixers with Loss-in-Weight technology – the most accurate feeding technology available. And all metering and mixing procedures are monitored and initiated by the control system so the operator can always confirm and modify as needed.
Need a Demonstration?
To see your products being mixed in a continuous process, schedule a visit to our Science & Innovation Center in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania, where pilot versions of all types of Exact Mixers are available.
We will explain and demonstrate the many benefits of Continuous Mixing on a pilot-scale level using your ingredients and your expertise and show you how our exciting technology is being used to its full advantage by others in the food industry.
This process will help identify advantages such as greater consistency and reduced labor expenses. In addition, you will learn how Continuous Mixing can meet the challenges of food safety and energy efficiency.
Once the process is demonstrated to your satisfaction, a Continuous Mixing system can be quoted to meet your requirements and budget.
