Continuous Mixing Applications
Chips & Crisps: The Exact FX Continuous Mixer is intended for products where moisture levels determine the texture of the final product, such as stackable potato chips, baked potato chips, corn chips, veggie chips, rice crisps, potato snacks, multigrain chips, and more. The high-speed mixing shaft lifts powdered ingredients into and through atomized liquids sprayed into the mixing chamber.
Cookies, Snacks, Fillings: The MX Continuous Mixer is our most versatile mixer. Without excessive heat, solid ingredients are quickly blended into solid fat to form a uniform mixture. Buns, Bread & Rolls: Exact Mixing offers the HDX Continuous Mixer, explicitly designed for mixing ultra-high absorption, highly developed dough, such as for bread, hamburger and hot dog buns, hard rolls, English muffins, tortillas, multigrain products, and similar products. In this two-stage system, all ingredients are mixed into a uniform mass in the first stage with a twin-screw mixer. In the second stage, the dough is kneaded to the proper development level with a single-screw mixer.
