About Continuous Mixing
Continuous Mixing is the process of continuously metering ingredients directly into a mixing chamber and generating a continuous stream of mixed product at the exit of the mixer. This results in even dough hydration, better integration of minor ingredients, and eliminates the dough variables caused by batch mixing. One mixer can feed multiple lines and can be operated with less labor and energy than batch mixing.

Cookies, Snacks, Fillings & Icings: The MX Continuous Mixer, a twin screw mixer, is our most versatile model and is suitable for many types of products, including snacks, cookies, pizza, pretzels, muffins, cake-style donuts, icings, batters, peanut butter, pie fillings, and other fat/sugar mixtures. This mixer offers dough production rates up to 8,000 kg/hour.
Crackers & Wheat-Based Products: Specifically designed for gentle kneading and mixing of low- to mid-absorption, fully developed doughs, our EX Continuous Mixer is a single-screw mixer that is ideal for pretzels, crackers, sweet goods, pie crusts, pet treats, and a variety of other wheat-based snacks.. This mixer offers dough production rates up to 7,500 kg/hour.
Cookies & Other 2-Stage Products: The LDX Continuous Mixer is well-suited for most types of cookies and other applications where ingredients are blended before adding flour. In the first mixing stage, all minor ingredients can be combined with some of the flour, and the fat can be cut in. In the final stage, the remaining flour is added to create the final dough. This mixer offers dough production rates up to 9,000 kg/hr.
