What is Continuous Mixing?
Batch mixing may be popular, but it may not be the most practical solution for your commercial bakery. The batch process involves loading the ingredients for each batch (at once or in a pre-defined sequence), mixing them, and discharging the dough from the mixer before another batch is introduced.
On the other hand, Continuous Mixing continuously meters ingredients directly into the mixing chamber and generates a continuous stream of mixed product at the exit of the mixer. The mixing may be done in stages to ensure all ingredients are properly incorporated. One mixer can feed multiple lines and can be operated with less labor and energy than batch mixing.

MX Continuous Mixer – Ideal for a wide range of products, including cookies, snacks, batters, icings, pretzels, pizza, and pastes. This is our most versatile mixer and is also an ideal first-stage mixer for processes that require creme-up and pre-blend stages.
HDX Continuous Mixer – Ideal for buns, bread, English muffins, and similar products and specifically designed to manufacture highly developed dough at low temperatures. First, all ingredients are mixed into a uniform mass with a twin-screw mixer. The dough is kneaded to the proper development level with a single screw mixer in a separate section.
EX Continuous Mixer – Ideal for wheat-based products such as sweet goods, crackers, and well-suited for all but the lowest viscosity powder/liquid mixtures; designed to uniformly mix products where dough moisture levels range from dough very low to very high. The dough is gently mixed and developed without generating excessive heat.
LDX Continuous Mixer is ideal for most cookies and other applications where ingredients are blended before adding flour. All ingredients except flour are combined in the crème-up stage, and special mixing elements cut the fat into the other ingredients. The flour is added before the development stage, where the final dough is created.
