If you are a commercial bakery that mixes dough for buns or plan to add buns to your production line, consider specialized mixing equipment to produce highly-developed, maximum-absorption dough. Since batch mixers cannot handle this customized mixing system, where can your bakery turn to find the right company that offers the right mixer model to meet your bun production needs?
Founded in 1994, Exact Mixing introduced the continuous mixing method for commercial bakeries that generate everything from the dough used to form thin, wheat-based snacks to the dough that forms thick buns. Since Reading Bakery Systems bought Exact Mixing, our engineers have perfected the continuous mixing process. Our research has led to the manufacture of five unique continuous mixing models, with one designed to blend the dough ingredients used to produce buns of all shapes and sizes.
Why is Continuous Mixing Superior to Batch Mixing?
The line of continuous mixers designed by Exact Mixing operates as fully automated systems. Full automation speeds up the dough mixing process, as continuous mixers constantly feed dough ingredients into the system to meet large production orders. Automation also ensures the continuous mixers you use follow every food safety standard. This means your bakery can save money on labor costs, but even better, it can produce a dough that accurately follows every recipe because of the lack of human error.
Another advantage of doing business with Exact Mixing concerns the versatility of our line of five continuous mixing models. Your bakery cannot install just any type of continuous mixer to blend the dough to shape buns. Your bakery can generate a large batch of dough for cookies in the morning, then spend the entire afternoon processing the dough to form the foundation for buns of all shapes and sizes.
The HDX Continuous Mixer for Buns
The engineers at Exact Mixing designed the HDX Continuous Mixer especially to mix highly developed and ultra-high absorption dough. This type of dough is perfect for creating buns of all shapes and sizes, as well as bread, tortillas, hard rolls, and English muffins. The HDX Continuous Mixer is a two-phase system, with the first phase mixing every ingredient into a uniform mass with a twin-screw blade. For the second phase, the HDX Continuous Mixer gently kneads the dough using a single-screw blade to reach the proper texture.
The HDX Continuous Mixer ensures accurate and uninterrupted measuring of ingredients and eliminates the threat of cross-contamination because the dough ingredients used to form buns are never exposed to environmental contaminants. HDX Continuous Mixers contain features like stainless steel construction and insulated mixer barrels with inlet and outlet connections. You can ramp up production of the HDX to exceed 10,000 kg an hour, which is a significant benefit for bakeries that must meet large production orders within a short period.
